I wish 3.0 had that!

We've had some threads about what we miss about 3.0, but I thought it would be good to have a thread about improvements we are thankful for. I'm sure similar threads have already been started, but hey, the topic might as well get bumped to the top again :-)

While I could mention quite a few, I'll start off with only one. I'm glad when I need to go from 1 Peter 1:1 to 1 Peter 1:17, all I have to type in the box is "17". So small, but so nice :-) Likewise, 2:17 would take me to 1 Peter 2:17, instead of having to type the full reference.

I am enjoying much of L4, but my favourite feature at the moment is the ability to view book covers in most places. With so many titles in my collection, I often forget what a book is about just by the title. Looking at the picture is a much easier way to remember what the book is about, whether I have read it before, maybe even how I purchased it!

Hover over a tab and information pops up about the book.

Tabs that actually work because you don't have to fight window alignment!

The tabbed panes are a huge improvement. Now I can have five Bibles and three commentaries open without having a bunch of tiny reading panes. Takes a little getting used to and practice to set up layouts, but the new layouts are a definite upgrade.

All you said is also my favorite feature.

One more thing is (what I always wanted to have in L3) floating windows. It's really great. And the ranked results of searches. I hated searches in L3. I tried to avoid them. Now it is the first thing I do. I like Bob's short way: ALT+D, writing the searched Bible word and hit CTRL+ENTER and here you go... great stuff.

I wish 3.0x had a much improved Biblical Places, People, and Things. Oh, and I wish their was a "Speed Search" that wouldn't just search my Bible at warp speed, but any book(s) or defined collections that I personally created....or the whole kit and caboodle Library! [;)] Yes, I could go on and on with my wishlist of improvements from 3.0x

Just ran a passage guide for Colossians 1:1-14.

I LOVE the fact that now Chrysostom's Homilies are now listed in the commentary section of the passage guide. Awesome & beautiful. No more searching through numerous volumes NPNF to find the right homily for me!
