Synchronzing error failure to start Logos

On startup, Logos hangs with the box "Synchronzing Please wait while your documents and settings are downloaded...

It has a Start Now button but when I hit that the spinner stops but nothing else happens.

I am running Logos 4.5a SR-1 on a windows 7 laptop. When I run it on my desktop running Vista I have no problem.

Any suggestions please.

Can you enable logging - http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging - and post the logs created when you try and start Logos

Wonder if can work offline for a bit ?

Launch Logos 4 on Windows 7, quickly press and hold Ctrl key until dialog box appears, release Ctrl key, click work offline.  While offline, open a resource or two, then close Logos 4 and launch normally (see if synchronizing changes).

Since using stable Logos 4, other option is contacting Logos Tech support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

The ctrl key worked to get me in and the synchronizing worked and it has openned several times since and everything works fine....the only thing is when the home page opens all the Logos stuff...blog,etc. does not show up. My internet connection is working even from within Logos and when I hit synchronze it checks and then says everything is. I selected work on line at the start and verified that in the setup. I don't know if it will just come back or not. I have included the log if this helps.

After launching Logos 4 with online connection, wonder about using F5 or shift-F5 on Home Page to refresh contents ?

Holding down the ctrl key, working offline, and the key for me to get this working - opening up a few resources.   I couldn't get this to start without doing that final thing, so I'm glad I found this post.  Much appreciated.  I'm back up and running with all my saved layouts...and stuff.
