I typed gloss:bless into the basic search window and it searched all my lexicons and such... that is very cool
Any other cool search possibilities anyone has discovered?
Very cool indeed. I was just thinking today that the Word Study Guide was limited to one word and that it would be better if we could find cognates at the same time. Using the gloss: term gives more flexibility. For instance, try gloss:bless* and you get all the hits for blessed, blessing(s), bless(es).
Ross, how did you discover this term? Was it just an idea you tried?

Francis,
You can also check or uncheck the "Find all word forms" in the drop down menu on the top left of the search (Basic and Bible) in place of the * wildcard. You can default it one way or the other, in other words.
Chris
Thanks, Chris. I tried this on a lemma: search and it does not seem to work there or else I don't know how to use it properly. Does anyone know how to search all cognates of a root form (eg: σπλάγχνον, σπλαγχνίζομαι, εὔσπλαγχνος, πολύσπλαγχνος, ἄσπλαγχνος)?
