Not really sure myself. I got it too but no worries. I had just finished a docx for a PB and when I strated L4 it appeared….it does every now and then - I just ignore it….
Do you use multiple computers? If you added notes/highlights/etc. in another instance of Logos then the program will take time to download/sync them before opening.
Synchronization was generally in the background, but we found that some users would have a lot of data to sync, or a slow connection, and be surprised to find something "missing" when the app started. So now at start-up this message appears while synchronization is done. It only appears if sync is going to take more than a few seconds. This could be because of how much data you have, running on a new machine, or a slower connection.

I have tried to get into the habit of doing a sync before I close L4, sometimes I forget...I pay more attention and see how this plays out....
