option to sync locations across devices per title

I would like a way to sync location on certain titles across devices. When I read certain books on my iPod and switch to my computer (or vice versa), I want to pick up where I left off. Other books (like Bibles, dictionaries, etc.) I wouldn't  want this feature at all. Having this optional per title would be great. If I designed the software, I would have it in the same place as "Link Set" and number of columns and other per title options (not sure what the official name of this menu is).

Do others think this is a good idea?

It kind of does this now… but could use improvements. If you open up book "A" on your iPad, Logos should open up book "A" to the same page… unless the book was already open. The reverse is also true. NOTE: this is also only true if the program has had a chance to sync. The desktop app is better about it than the mobile one. You may need to force the mobile app to sync.

+1 [Y] for idea of excluding resource location.  Wonder about adding a check box to resource information, which defaults to checked (sync) ?  Potentially reuse sync exception for other items (e.g. notes, prayers).

Caveat: Logos User Voice suggestion => Add an option that allows a user not to upload their personal data (notes, prayers)to Logos' servers was declined by Logos on 28 Dec 2011, which includes: "It would be a lot of work and introduce many potential problems to implement selective cloud syncing, and we don’t plan it anytime soon."

For resources, please add a check box for "Sync location between devices" that defaults to checked (sync).  When unchecked, location history is not synchronized.  For File documents (e.g. Notes, Prayer List, ...), please add a "Sync" button so can choose for each file document whether to sync (or not).  Logos users would appreciate individual exclusion options, which can be used with Use Internet set to Yes so other items sync.  From a Logos perspective, allowing individual item(s) to be excluded from sync should reduce some sync server usage and associated network traffic.  Note: if an individual item is changed to sync, would appear the same as copy and paste (potentially lot of stuff), which has the same data replication issues as using two installations offline, then enabling online use for both.
