Has anyone else received an bad billing this week

I have received a unknown charge on my credit card this week of $80+. When I called Logos I was given three different reason for the charge and each on I could prove was wrong.

Then I was told it was because the tax on the website was wrong, and I pointed out that I ordered by phone and it was over 14 months since my order.

I was promised the amount would be credited back to my credit card. It has not been done by this point in time.

Is Logo's in financial trouble, where they need to get quick revenue?

It realy sad where a company that has such a great product, has to do something like this.

I'm pretty sure that if they were in financial trouble they would not just indiscriminately start charging customers' cards. It does sound odd, and I think it is valid to ask if anyone has had a problem before, but I don't think it has anything to do with financial problems. It is probably a billing mix-up.

Hello David:

I'm sorry for the error and that you're frustrated. I looked at your account and it looks like there was a calculation error between the website and accounting records. The refund request was submitted yesterday morning. The refund process on our end takes up to 48 hours to process, and today being Good Friday the accounting department is closed. If they did not get to processing the refund on our side yesterday they should get it done Monday. If you would like, I can email them to let you know when we have processed the refund. Again, I'm very sorry for the trouble.

Just for the record, I would of not asked in the forum if the problem was handled as promised originally.

Also, if I was notified in advance of a "required" correction of sales tax from a purchase that was done 14 months earier, I most likely would of been upset but wiling to work with the company. It was the fact that they just charge my account without any prior notification and then couldn't give me a direct answer of the biling raises some very serious questions for me.

I had a similar issue a couple months ago, but again the accounting department cleared it up right away, mistakes happen but it is a very good idea to keep an eye on things going onto your credit cards since mistakes happen. I do not think Logos is in trouble or trying to cheat people.
