I have L4 on 2 machines- I usually do most of my work on my Dell 1720, and sync it to my Dell 9400.
I noticed this morning that all my collections have not sync'd to the 9400, what would be the reson for this?
I have noticed weird behavior with syncing collections as well. I have three computers - I made the collections on my main system - and it synced properly on one of my other computers, but none of my collections synced on the other.
Look like it's stored in Logos4\Documents\<random>\ResourceCollectionManager
You could try on the one with the problem, closing Logos 4, rename that db file (to back it up) and relaunch Logos, see what happens? [^o)]
I ahve a resource manager folder- but no resource collection manager.
Is that what you ment?
go up a couple levels -> Documents, not Data

Whynndell,
ResourceCollectionsManager on VIsta is in c;\users\youraccount\appdata\local\logos4\documents\random\resourcecollectionmanager
Got it emailed file from my 1st amch and put in the 2nd mach folder- now sync'd.
But the big question is why/ and will it happen again, maybe with other resources?
Here's my guess - synchronising becomes very complicated if all themachines aren't online whenever they're being used. If you make changeson computer 1 and computer 2 while they're offline; when you go onlineagain both have changed from the original and the sync server can'tknow which set of collections is the 'right' one to keep, so to preventfrom it writing over the changes you made you end up with two branchedsets of collections being synced with the server independently of eachother... This would also hold true for other user documents that are syncing.
S are you saying:
1) always have both machines with L4 open when working
or
2) If I am finished using #1, and later in the day use #2 then make sure I sync it before proceeding with any work.
#2 does seem like the most reasonable solution.
