If you're wondering Why You Need 'Jastrow', click on the link, and you'll find a list of reasons (note that the thread is quite old, and that Jastrow is now in CP instead of prepub, and considerably cheaper than it was then.

Amazon still sells copies of this for considerably more than they are going on CP. I had to buy a copy for a class in which we are reading Rabbinic Hebrew, so it is still the standard resource.
