How to Manage "Resource Collections" in the iPad Search window?
Hi
I am having difficulty in determining how to control the "Resource Collections" used in the search screen on an iPad.
I would like to do simple search on specific books and have no understanding as to how to control what books show up in the search list. In addition, some of the acronyms that do show up might be what I want but I have not figured out how to determine what they are (example = TDV2-P2757 whatever that is suppose to mean).
I've set collections in L4 to be a specific book and that that doesn't work.
My favorite bible is the ESV and that doesn't even show up hence I can't perform a search on it. It is even the bible that is selected as my favorite in L4 and on the iPad.
Can anybody point me in the right direction????
Regards, Steve
Must admit I a bit frustrated at the lack of information as to how to manage the search tool resources. I really am not interested is searching the world and having to scroll through unnecessary stuff to get to the resources I want.

Sorry you are having problems. I don't think you are going to like my answer… It is my understanding that the resource collections are supposed to sync from L4, but that it is a feature that has not yet migrated over to sync v2. When things are functioning the way they are intended, you should be able to create collections in L4, which would sync to your mobile device. As it is, the sync isn't working.

This acronym will be one of the resources you used recently on your device. If you are bugged about what resource it is, you could look under your library for recent resources. You could also perform a search until you get a hit and then open one of the search results. Once the resource opens you would know what the acronym stands for. [:)]

Thanks Alabama
Was not thinking right ... it makes sense that it is tied to the sync issue. Yes it is a disappointment, but thats the way of life. I will wait as many others are doing.
Again, Thanks
