Question about notes and removing L3

I see a number of posts from folks asking if they can uninstall L3 after installing L4. Since the notes have not yet transferred from L3 (that's an upcoming L4 feature), wouldn't you completely lose all of your notes if you uninstalled L3 before this happened?

Because notes in L3 are in the Annotations folder within the Libronix DLS folder in My Documents, they can be backed up easily. But until there is a way for them to be converted and useful in L4, they can only be accessed and used in L3. If someone wants to continue to use them, then they would have to maintain L3 as a working system. Hope that makes sense.

Here's the rub. Uninstalling L3 only saves about 400-500 MB because it preserves all your resources and user data (Notes, Collections, etc) - uninstall L4 and you will lose your resources! So you gain very little unless you are prepared to delete your resources.
