How do I rank the books in my library so I can sort them for display in that order?

Hey Gene - There is not a method to manually sort books. Your choices for sort are Title, Author, Rating, and Recent. With those categories, the closest thing would be for you to "rate" your books in L4 by stars. You do this in the library. 

NOTE: I am not sure if the release version has rating sync working or not. It is working in the latest mobile beta (2.1.3b1).

ok...until they can sync, is there a way to rate the books on the ipad/iphone?

Steve - I am unsure if the rating doesn't sync now. It does sync with the latest beta, which is what I am using. There is not a method for rating books on the mobile app itself, but must be done with L4. Have you tried it to see if it syncs? You may need to use the command: sync now in L4, and kill the app on your iPad to ensure a sync. (This isn't really necessary, but if you are testing, it will ensure that the sync takes place when you want it to).

I am sorry, but you can't. It is a private beta. Apple is very tight over what apps are allowed to be installed on their devices, and consequently they allow developers a limited number of spots for beta testing.

I am unsure what the time table is. Logos did submit the 2.1 version of the app to Apple and it was rejected for whatever reason. (Apple recently made changes to submission rules, and I believe it may have had something to do with that). If you speak spanish, you could download the spanish version, which is at 2.1 [:D].

Actually, the Vyrso app is already at the 2.1 build, and I believe that the rating should already sync. I have downloaded the app to my wife's phone to verify.

EDIT: I can confirm that the Vyrso app does correctly sync the rating info properly.

EDIT 2: The ratings do not reflect my actual rating of the books… it was just for testing purposes. [;)]
