In the resource Grasping God's Word there are text boxes for providing answers to exercises. Is it possible to create them for a PB?
(wild guess)
Try making a table with 1 column/row

Nope - text box also didn't work.
That would create the visual look of a box but wouldn't allow typing inside it like the resource MJ is referring to.
I'm nearly certain this feature is not available in PB's, and I doubt they have any intention of offering it. But it would be good to hear from the horse's mouth on this, and you could request the feature if it's not planned yet.

I would love to have this feature! My teaching here in the Alaskan bush is all open ended questions for the learner to research and answer. I provide the questions as a personal book, but there no easy way for them to fill in the answers and store them as part of the document.
What some do is make a note file for the course topic (the list of hundreds of questions). They then add a note to that notes file as they answer each question. When we discuss the topic in class hover they over the highlight to see the answer they wrote.
Since I have to give them the .docx file to compile the PB, some of them write their answer in the .docx file. See example source file below.
1643.Ecclesiastes NET PB.docx.

And here I had a perfect workaround for templates & notes[:(]

You're facing the same issues I have. I hadn't tried the note method as I was thinking in terms of templates that don't work well in notes ... but I'll go back and revisit that possibility. Thanks for the sample file as another possible approach.
