I had to do ao complete reinstall due to continual errors and inability to even start Logos. Now that I have reinstalled, Logos 4 runs but the indexer continually crashes.8664.Logos4IndexerError.log4466.Logos4IndexerCrash.txt7510.Logos4Indexer.log
Never mind. I am having more problems than this. I have now removed everything Logos related from my computer with the intent of reloading. Now nothing will load at all from Logos. Nothing online or from a DVD. I get an error that a file is unable to download from the online install, yet everthing is working and from the DVD, that I do not have a key to be able to install. At this point I have no idea what to do next. By the way, everything else on my computer works fine with no issues at all.

Please explain how everything is working...!?
Reboot the computer and see if Setup restarts. It would be helpful to have some logs, but persist with the online web link as the DVD version could give problems.
Dave, thanks for responding. I have been delaing wiht this for two days. I cannot even install Logos now. Error Message reads Setup was unable to download a required file. Setup will not restart at all.
When I say everything else is working, I am refering to all of the other software I use.

I had a similar problem a few days ago and restarting resolved it. So we need to see some logs e.g. logos4setup.log, and any install logs. If necessary setup logging as per http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
I am unable to provide logs as I was not able to get the software to even install. I wound up reimaging the hard drive and starting from scratch so I will see where that goes. Thanks
8562.Logos4IndexerError.zipOkay, computer is reimaged, Logos was indexing fine for the first couple of iterations and then crash. Log files are attached. Thanks
Logos4Indexer.log file has error: "The database disk image is malformed" that occurs after starting to index resource LLS:JOSGK
Wonder about deleting LLS_JOSGK_####_##_##T##_##_##Z.mstidx file in C:\Users\Ken Brown\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\d0lejqny.gtm\ResourceManager\logos folder, then try indexing again ?
Note: the mstidx file is a SQLite database file.

The crash error occurred on thread 8 for LLS:1.0.710 (ESV) and the error message concerns a Reverse Interlinear resource (JOSGK is on thread 9 - I don't think it is an RI). Also there were other messages for LLS:1.0.710 eg. Resource 'LLS:1.0.710' doesn't have reverse interlinear data; can't check if interlinears are correct version.
A couple of other RI's were started much earlier and did not finish indexing LLS:1.0.30 (NKJV) and LLS:1.0.50 (NRSV). They may be OK.
So I'd remove ESV.logos4 + (if they exist) ESVNT.lbsrvi & ESVOT.lbsrvi from C:\Users\Ken Brown\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\d0lejqny.gtm\ResourceManager\Resources, and restart L4.

Thankful for many friendly forum discussions: have learned a lot plus have a lot to learn (e.g. thread # in diagnostic log files). LLS:1.0.30 (NKJV) is indexing in thread 10 while LLS:1.0.50 (NRSV) is in thread 11 so threads 8, 9, 10, and 11 were indexing resources.
For LLS:1.0.710 (ESV) indexing crash, wonder about deleting LLS_1_0_710_####_##_##T##_##_##Z.mstidx file(s) in C:\Users\Ken Brown\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\d0lejqny.gtm\ResourceManager\logos folder, then try indexing again ? If crash again, then would try removing ESV resource files (or hiding ESV).
Personally learned my ResourceManager\logos folder has five LLO_1_0_710*.mstidx files. Appears Logos resource updating does not remove older mstidx (master index) files.
Hi Ken, if Dave's suggestion does not work give us a call at your earliest convenience, or reply to my email with a good time to call you tomorrow or Friday.
2553.Logos4Indexer.zipDid as suggested, and still crashes. Just now trying the last idea. Have already called level 1 and they are sending me further up the resolution chain. I will not probably have time to spend on this again till Friday though due to mid week services tomorrow. Latest logs attahced. Thanks so much.
Okay, I have now given all the options a go and nothing works. The indexer crashes continually. I really need to move on to other things and get ready for tomorrow's study. Here are the last set of logs. The white flag is up and waving. 4604.Logos4IndexerError.zip

The problem now occurs with LLS:1.0.50 (NRSV) but Support should be able to resolve it for you.
At the end of the day, support was able to get me up and running again. Thanks for your help and feedback.
