Book Questions

I have a few questions about some print books in my library I would like to give away so I can transition more to Logos Books.

First of all, I have a copy of the Zondervan NIV Exhaustive Concordance (big black book) in print. Now with Logos, do I really need this book, or should I pass it on?

I also have a couple copes if Word Biblical Themes. If I spring for the entire Word Biblical Commentary series one day, would I really needs these books as well, or would I just need the Word Biblical Commentary series in Logos?

Lastly, is there a way I can get a copy of the Simple English Bible (SEB), New English Bible (NEB), and the 1611 edition of the King James Version in Logos format in the form of a PBB or some other form?

Re: Concordance - As you are aware, computers are pretty good at indexing and searching things. I am not aware of anything that can be done with a Concordance that cannot be done with Logos. That said, it depends on how you work. I would give it away when you find yourself not using it.

I don't have any of the Word Biblical Themes. I do have some of the print volumes of WBC as well as an old Logos complete set. I would strongly suspect that they would be different enough that they would not really be duplicates.

Re: Bible Translations, some pbb bibles have been released, but I am not aware of any of those particular versions you mentioned. I think someone has made one for the NT of NEB, but distributing it runs into copyright issues. The 1611 KJV has no copyright issues, at least outside of the United Kingdom, but finding a text of it is not exactly a trivial undertaking. Most versions described as the 1611 are not actually the 1611.

Yeah, I spend most of my time in Logos, so the concordance can probably go. Already gave away my copy of Strongs.

I only have a couple copies of Word Biblical Themes. Guess I could look over them then decide what to do with them. I'd probably use the Logos editions of WBC much more than the printed themes books.

The NEB NT is what I have in print. It'd be great to be able to have a Personal Book copy of it in Logos, and if there was a copyright issue with the publisher, I'd be happy to even pay the publisher a royalty for my personal use if it came down to it. I certainly wouldn't be distributing it, just using the book in my own personal library like I'm doing the print copy now. I also have the 1611 KJV in print, but getting it in Logos would be great.
