Users of the Windows Phone platform need an application for both Logos Bible Software and the Proclaim presentation environment. The Lumina device sold by AT&T recently sold out online and so we are in desperate need of an application that can fill our bible study needs on the go.

Hi Christopher - and welcome to the forums.

The last we heard Logos have no plans to provide applications for the Windows Phone 7 market. This is a question which does get raised frequently and we know they are watching it but no commitments yet (if ever). Effectively it comes down to a market share question - and some technical issues.

For comments from Logos on both the Logos app and Proclaim please see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/28490/302264.aspx#302264 and http://community.logos.com/forums/t/43136.aspx

    Christopher -

    Welcome to the forums!

Bob has said that if other platforms pick up popularity, he would consider other platforms. Personally, I think it is very unlikely for Windows 7 phones to ever get an app. There is a better chance for windows 8. One possibility for you is to use biblia.com (a logos site) which would allow you to read your resources online.

To play off of Graham's excellent response: Logos does offer maturing Logos apps for both IOS and Android devices.  I'm not suggesting that you trash your WinPhone, but many of us find that a tablet is a (admittedly expensive) convenience for Logos, etc.  Just a thought if the budget permits.

There's also a suggestion for WP7 on the Logos UserVoice site (that you can vote for): http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/510027-logos-on-windows-mobile

At the moment it's not likely to happen, but that could change if Microsoft removes some restrictions (related to C++/native code) on developing for the platform.
