Blessings....
Thanks. I just got the email telling me my existing bid would fail [:(] Maybe we'll get some more bids over the next couple of days that will bring the price down
At 32 vols. this is one of the largest Classic Commentaries sets. In another forum thread someone was looking forward to the titles by Haldane and Plumer. I would like to hear which other titles are bidders are most interested in.
I don't mind if the price on this doesn't go down further. This is one of the rare community pricing resources that I haven't put in a lower bid for, so that work on it can start as soon as possible. I'm really pleased to see Romans make it to 100% at last.

Romans has dropped to $35
Stanley Porter recently critiqued Romans commentaries, and I think he makes some valid points to consider for all NT commentaries (and OT ones, too, though I suspect Hebrew aspect and discourse theories are not nearly as well developed as is the case for NT Greek):

Since Revelation has grammatical peculiarities and solecisms, I suspect commentaries that are up-to-date on linguistic knowledge may not be as important for its interpretation, so I put my bid in today for the classic commentaries on Revelation (plus, it's one of my favorite books to read, even though at times I wonder if it's basically a wild exegetical imagination at work on what may ultimately have been a failed prophecy).
YMMV.
