FSB App crashes when using CEB verse chooser
I recently downloaded the CEB (http://www.logos.com/product/8651/common-english-bible) to the Faithlife Study Bible app, but two things happen.
When I got to select a verse, using the verse chooser, the app crashes. The reference bar does change locations, and the app does not crash.
Unlike other translations, when I use the CEB the bold type in the FSB notes does not change to reflect the wording of the CEB.
This seems to be a resource issue, and I realize that the CEB is relatively new. Hopefully this will start working properly soon.
Thanks!

Any ideas why only this translation doesn't work? Its not because it included apocrypha because so does the NRSV, and there are not problems with it.

The Faithlife Study Bible does not currently support the CEB translation, hence the difficulties you mention in this thread Philana.
Currently, FSB supports the following translations:
-Lexham English Bible (LEB)
-English Standard Version (ESV)
-King James Version (KJV)
-New King James Version (NKJV)
-New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
-New American Standard Bible (NASB95)
-New International Version (NIV 2011)
When swapping between these translations, you'll observe the biblical fragment text in the notes pane (the bolded text) change to your selected translation.

Will it support the CEB in the future?
This feature is driven by the Reverse Interlinear alignment data. So if/when the CEB gets a Reverse Interlinear treatment, it should be possible to support this feature in FSB.

If at least the verse chooser could work without crashing the app, I can live with the notes not changing (I can translate). I would just like to easily read and take community notes, so being able to navigate in the CEB should not require a reverse Interlinear.
Thanks

Development has fixed the verse chooser issue in a version of the app that will be released soon. You will be able to use the translation of your choice within FSB for reading and taking community notes. However, the biblical fragments in the notes pane (the bolded text) will only change when using the translations listed in my post above.
