So this function does not seem to work for me. Anyone else experiencing the same problem? It is grayed out under TOOLS.
I have the same problem. Any ideas how to fix this?
I am using the ESV and it is openned to Mark 13.1. I openned tools and these items were not grayed out. Try this verse.
EDIT: I was just thinking that the verse that is open on your Bible does not refer to any places, people, or things. I am not sure, though.

Charles do you have a base package?
Just wondering, do you have to have particular resources for it to work? I personally do not have a problem and bought the Leaders package when I upgraded to L4
to expand on this, You must have a 4.0 base package OR the Minimal Upgrade in order to have access to these features. At least I'm pretty sure it comes with all the base packages.
I had Scholars Gold and upgraded to Platinum and it is grayed out for me also.

Can I assume that you are on SR6 and have run "update resources"?
This computer is not connected to the internet - so have not run any updates or SR6.
There was a fix in SR6 to enable the downloading of resources which you should have but don't. I'm not sure where to go from here... How did you install on that computer?

Customer service was able to help me install L4 after I received the dvd.
I do have a computer connected to the internet with L3. It looks like I need to install L4 on it to receive all the updates.

That would be a good idea.
I don't know how you update the core program without internet access. If you get a good install with all of your resources, you can copy those resources onto an external drive and then scan for them with your non-connected computer.

I have the base package. Tried everything to no avail. I even tried installing L4 on my backup computer (hopefully did not violate the EULA agreement) to see if I had done something wrong but I got the same result no Biblical People Places or Things.
Are you sure the indexing is complete? Mine were grayed out until the indexing completed - hence I had logged a similar complaint.
Indexing was complete. I'm sure there will be a fix some day.

This is more curiosity than necessity on my part as I have Scholars Gold; however... will the Biblical * be available as an separately purchasable addin for CHL users?
I have the platinum upgrade and have not been able to view them on my desktop. This computer has never been connected to the internet.
However, I just finished downloading my resources on a different computer and am able to view them.
Is there a way to be able to access this feature without being connected to the internet?

You'll probably need to contact Customer Support to order a media-only DVD and load them from the disc.
