BUG: Unusual Dropdown Menu behaviour

Each time I add a word to a Visual Filter a drop down menu appears with suggested word matches which fine. BUT if another tab is then selected instead of the drop down menu being covered over by the newly selected tab window the drop down menu becomes detached. If you repeat the process you are able to create multiple detached drop down menus. See attached screen captures as examples.

More Examples

In the example below the original Visual Filter tab has been closed and the drop down menus are therefore completely detached from their original tab window.

In the example below you can see it is even possible to create new tab windows and the old drop down menus from the formerly open Visual Filter tab still remain.

This looks like the constantly reoccurring bug with popups that won't go away until you restart. The only thing slightly unusual with it is that you seem to have found a repeatable case, which should make it possible for the devs to get rid of at least this one version of the bug. When it happens to me it usually seems pretty random. Though admittedly it's happened very rarely lately, so I guess they've managed to find and fix most causes by now. There was a time when it happened every week.

But I still have lots (and I mean lots -- as in many times a day) of cases where I have to wait a minute or more to get rid of a popup, and try clicking in all sorts of places, before I finally manage to make it go away. But restarts have become rare. (Admittedly, many of these cases would probably go away if I had more RAM, but it does happen when I have plenty of free RAM as well, so that can't be the only cause.)

Wondering if stable or beta release being used ?

Logos 4.5b Beta 6 release notes include a bug fix:

Fixed bug which prevented drop down menus from being dismissed if open when the panel itself was closed. (See this thread.)

Edit: using Logos 4.5b Beta 7 on Mac OS X 10.6.8, am unable to replicate unusual dropdown menu, albeit while editing Visual Filters, often have to wait for Mac Spinning Beach Ball cursor to disappear (several seconds) before can type in visual filter field.

After Logos4Mac is loaded I still have more than 3GB of Free RAM.

Same experience here.
