I thought that scrolling in documents and windows in Logos 4 didn't work but I discovered it works as expected on one of my systems. What I can't figure out is why it works on that system and not on the others. Is it because it's XP? An actual wheel? The differences don't seem to account for the different results. I'm going to try different settings and attach the same mouse to each system to see if that really does make the difference, but I thought I'd ask others who use Windows with various devices if they can scroll and zoom or not? Maybe we can put our experiences together and figure out how to make use of this feature in Logos 4.
System #1: Windows XP, MS IntelliMouse Optical: Wheel works as expected in all apps including Logos 4 -- scrolls in documents/windows, zooms in graphics/maps.
System #2: Windows Vista, Synaptics Touchpad: Scrolling works as expected in all apps except Logos 4. In Logos 4 nothing happens (not even highlighting -- unless I press and hold the left button). I have to use the scroll bars. The scrolling overlay ("[<->]") appears so I know it's active.
System #3: Windows 7, Tablet (Touch Screen): Scrolling works as expected in all apps except Logos 4. In Logos 4 it doens't scroll. Instead it highlights the text under the pointer.
Note: Scrolling and Touch gestures/flick work as expected on all systems when you using Biblia.com, but that's because it's actually inside a browser window.
