Hebrew Text - export without accents
I'm doing a paper on deuteronomic laws and would like to have the hebrew text without disjunctive accents (as e.g. silluq or munah-zapqe).
How do I get this?
I'm working mainly with Bilbia Hebraica Quinta.

I don't know if there is a way to do it from within Logos, but if you export the text as is (accents and all) to Word, then you can do a global replace in Word to remove all those accents. Just copy this text string (ֽֿ֑֖֛֢֣֤֥֦֧֪֚֭֮֒֓֔֕֗֘֙֜֝֞֟֠֡֨֩֫֬֯׀), not including the parentheses, which consists of the complete list of all the Masoretic accents (maybe that vertical bar at the end isn't technically an accent, but you probably want to get rid of it too; I'm not sure what it is, but I don't think it's part of the text). Then go to the top of the Word document that has your exported Hebrew text. Open the Replace dialog box (Click Replace on the Home tab on the ribbon or press Ctrl+H). Type in an open and close square bracket [] and put your cusor between them. Paste in the Hebrew accent string which you copied from here (Ctrl+V). Click the More>> button to expand the dialog box so you can see the checkboxes. Turn on the "Use wildcards" checkbox. Then click Replace All.

Academic papers requires unpointed Hebrew text, and yet I have to use my E Sword program for this, since Logos can't manage it. I hope this gets rectified.

This would be a really good suggestion, in that the dev’s @ HQ could supply a code, such as when we click “create new style” from the ‘copy bible verse’ tool, that removes accentual markings. Then those who need it can copy/paste into their own systems, or they can do a global update and supply it for everyone as another option in the ‘quotations’.
e-sw is a freebie, but L4 isn't----?

Yea, especially so as the 'old' version of the Stuttgard Bible Software, which merged with Logos, did the trick without any problems.

Actually, I could have saved you some trouble by giving you the entire string with square brackets around it to copy and paste into Word's Replace dialog:
[ֽֿ֑֖֛֢֣֤֥֦֧֪֚֭֮֒֓֔֕֗֘֙֜֝֞֟֠֡֨֩֫֬֯׀]
And I also should have explicitly said to clear any text that might have been in the "Replace with" box in the Replace dialog. You probably figured that out on your own, but the point is you're replacing these accents with nothing.

Do you have also such a string for removing vowels?
In my articles I have to write unvocalised hebrew text and I have always to remove vowels and accents manually.

Sure, it's easy to create these strings. Just go into the Insert Symbol dialog box in Word, find the range of characters that are Hebrew vowels, and insert one of each in a row:
So here's the replace string for getting rid of vowels: [ְֱֲֳִֵֶַָֹֻ]
Actually, I might have missed a couple of Masoretic accents in my above instructions. I don't know the accents myself, so I was just looking through the range of Hebrew characters for those squiggly symbols that looked like Masoretic accents that I knew weren't vowels. If you're really doing this stuff seriously you might want to create your own string, using the method I just described, with the Insert Symbol dialog box.

Rosie has given you a method which works for large sections of text, but, if you're only doing a small section, you can start at the end of the Hebrew text and work through it from end to beginning. When you use your arrow key and pass a consonant before (actually after) a vowel or accent, use the backspace key to remove the offending item. The accent and vowel always follows the consonant to which it's attached.
