Logos Load time

If I could name the one thing that I would like Logos to improve the load time.

I know it is suppose to get faster after the initial load but I have it on my office machine as well as my home laptop which is a very fast windows 7 machine the load time is still slow.

Actually, what I really find interesting is that logos is almost instantaneous on my Galaxy 10.1 tablet.

Observation: seems loading Logos for offline use is several seconds faster than loading with online use.

Caveat: offline use cannot sync stuff; also cannot download new resource purchases.

Caution: have experienced sync issues with initial online launch after working offline.

Logos mobile app on iPad likewise loads almost instantaneous, but mobile app lacks many Logos 4 features (dreaming about many mobile app improvements).

William ... you probably don't want to hear this but on my ThinkPad Core i7, it loads almost 60 resources linked in 4 windows fairly fast. Indeed I'm amazed. I do have the internet off all the time. I wonder where the slowdown might be.

I agree with you - I think that the 2 most important areas where Logos needs to improve its speed is in the startup time and in the Print/Export module.

Here is another thread dealing with the startup time that discusses the option to work offline (seems that for most people it cuts off about 10 seconds, although I have seen times when working online can add 20 or even 30 seconds to the boot time).

Given that I several times a day have to fight with popups that take a minute or more to get rid of, I have a hard time getting upset about the startup taking 20-25 seconds. There was a time when it took much more, and required 2-10 restarts a day, due to crashes and lack of RAM.

And given the hundreds of things that don't work at all, I have a hard time getting too upset even about those popups.
