I don't know if this is a real bug or an artifact of the new design of L4, but from a user perspective I would consider it a bug.
When I setup a reading plan for one of the Syriac or Hebrew Bibles (probably the same with other Bibles that are not the preferred Bible) and then open the plan the following things seem to be wrong.
- Interesting words display words from the preferred Bible not from the Bible used in the reading plan
- Bible passage on the handout is from the preferred Bible not from the Bible used in the reading plan
- Words used in the puzzle on the handout are from preferred Bible not from the Bible used in the reading plan
I haven't tested yet but I believe this problem is a little more widespread in that I suspect the preferred Bible is what is used for the entire passage guide opened when the Reading Plan is opened. So commentaries could possibly be for the wrong passage if the selected text for the day were entirely (or maybe started) in the Septuagint for a passage that differed in verse structure from the preferred Bible. Could also be interesting if your reading plan encompassed some of the Deutero-Canonical material and your preferred Bible did not contain that material.
Finally, if I setup a reading plan I will not get a "Syriac" tab in the "Interesting Words" section unless a Syriac Bible is selected as Preferred Bible although if I select a Hebrew Bible for the reading plan and the preferred Bible is English I get Hebrew and Greek tabs suggesting the "Interesting Words" is going to the Septuagint at all times. Would it be possible to get that section to always refer to the Peshitta and perhaps the Vulgate when those resources are available as it refers to the Septuagint?
