I purchased a Logos 4 bible software package and downloaded the books to my iPad.  My question is, what steps must I take to acess all of my books during the times when I don't have an internet connection?  Please accept my thanks in advance for any and all responses.

    Donald -

    First, welcome to the forums!

I purchased a Logos 4 bible software package and downloaded the books to my iPad.  My question is, what steps must I take to acess all of my books during the times when I don't have an internet connection?

I am not sure I understand your question, but I will take a stab at it.

    1. If you have actually downloaded books to your iPad, they will be available to you offline. You can verify this by turning the iPad into airplane mode, which will turn off 3G & wifi and mimic being away from a connection.
    2. If you haven't actually downloaded the resources, see the screen shots below. There are two places to download books. The first is in the resource info panel (shot 1). The second place is the "download all" button in the library. NOTE: Downloading all your resources may not be the best choice. If you are inclined to do so, let me know and I can explain more.
    3. If you are wondering why some books from your base package are not available on your iPad, the answer is that Logos must secure permission from the publishers. In most cases this has been done, but some publishers are very stubborn about it, feeling that you should have to purchase two licenses (one for your computer and another for your mobile device). Logos does not agree with this policy and so if a publisher hasn't granted mobile privileges, the resource will be unavailable to you on your device.
