Logos 4 Indexer stopped working closes laptop to blue screen

Running Windows 7 on laptop, computer starts up fine but then Logos 4 starts auto indexing & that immediately shuts my computer down bringing up a blue screen of info.
This just started within the last week. I use my iPad2 so do not turn on my computer everyday...usually once or twice a week.
This is the first time this has happened with indexing.
Logos4 runs in Safe Mode, but won't index in safe mode.
1. How do I shut off Logos 4 auto indexing so I can at least use my computer?
2. What do I do to get Logos 4 indexing to stop crashing my computer?

Bev, the first thing to do is enable permanent diagnostic logging if you haven't done so. Once that is done and you trigger another crash put all the log files together in one .zip file and attach it to a follow-up message.

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging with downloadable javascript EnableLogging.js to enable diagnostic logging (OR can manually edit registry => To enable logging )

When Logos 4 diagnostic logging is enabled, your registry should have an Enabled value of 1 in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Logos4\Logging

Safe mode is a troubleshooting option that loads minimal drivers and services => http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode and => http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/What-is-safe-mode

Suspect answer is yes for registry editor access during Safe Mode with Networking.
