Customize Template Problems

I have a customized guide that I've made a long time ago and I've tried updating the template several times but to no avail. I've forced sync after making the update, yet it still didn't help. I've tried adding sermons.logos, sermon audio, and sermon central, but after I close the program entirely, those parts of my customized guide vanish. Is this a bug? Operator error?

Apologies: using Logos 4.5b (4.52.0.2176) am unable to replicate since can add and remove sections from My Passage Guide: open Guide in a new tab, then click resource tab, choose "Edit Guide Template", close "My Passage Guide", then modify "My Passage Guide" template, then close template, which can be followed by opening "My Passage Guide" and using it to verify template modifications.

Curious about guide type ? Bible Reference OR Bible Word ?  Note: "My Passage Guide" only has Bible Reference sections (same as "My Exegetical Guide").  In contrast, "My Bible Word Study" has Bible Word sections.

Also wonder about potential for sync errors ? (so older sync keeps getting redone; would appear in diagnostic log files)
