With the emergence of Vyrso, I'm curious if any Logos resources that might have been a good/better fit for the Vyrso publishing model might someday be rereleased and/or discounted to be more competitive.
Specifically, I'm thinking of the book "Got Questions: Bible Questions Answered." I've used and recommended the GotQuestions.com web site for years and was happy to see Logos "publishing" the book in the Logos format, however the pre-pub price ($30-some dollars) was out of my cost-benefit justification.
At the time "Got Questions" went live on Logos, I understood and accepted that the $44.95 price was comparable to the $47.99 hardcover price (retail) and moved on. However, today I saw it on Amazon in Kindle format for just $7.99, which makes me wonder and ask, (at least here)...
If Logos has already covered the cost of the original conversion, tagging, etc. of the book in Logos format through the pre-pub process for those who need/want that, how about running the text alone through the much simpler, faster, cost-effective automated process for Vyrso, (which was explained to me in a post a while back about Francis Schaeffer's commentary on Roman's in Vyrso), and allow the rest of us to pick it up through Vyrso instead of Kindle?
I know this is easier said then done and there will no doubt be "slippery slope" arguments brought up about what might happen (place your list of bad things here) if Logos does indeed do this for even one book, but the ebook publishing market is evolving fast as is Logos/Vyrso, and as someone once said, "you do not have because you do not ask," so I'm simple asking.
Thanks!
Steve R.
