Candlish

I continue to be perplexed by the logic behind many of the CP collections. If they are going to offer the "Works of Robert S. Candlish" why do they not include all the works of Candlish? Would not a better (honest?) title be "Some of the Works of Robert S. Candlish?" Where is Life in a Risen Savior in this collection? Logos already has it available separately. Is it not in the public domain as well? Why not include it?

Makes it complicated for Logos to deal with those of us who already have them and hence already paid to help get the other Candlish works into production. If we all have to pay the same price for the additional works plus the existing ones, then we have to be willing to go along with a different type of deal than normally applied (ie: apprearing to pay twice for some we already have - not always too popular and likely to lead to a different round of questions as to why.... [:-*]).

Much easier to put the additional works on CP this way and to have the option once it gets into production to offer a complete set at a reasonable price with these extras as an upgrade (for those who do not get on board while in CP). Seem to recall that has happend before but cannot remember for which resources...... [*-)]

I totally agree - offering the "remaining" works in a collection rather than making two collections (one with works already existing in Logos and one without them) is more manageable. Besides, I like that the two commentaries are offered as part of their respective Classic Commentaries as it will give exposure for the author to users who might get that exposure if the volumes only existed indivudally or in a "complete" Candlish collection.
