Logos running after quit

Does anyone know why logos would be running after I quit it.  Running in the activity monitor?  Lion.

    Logos 4.5b synchronizes on start up and shut down, which can become non-responsive so force quit is needed.

    On a different Mac, recently experienced Logos 4.5a SR-1 taking long time to quit, so did a force quit, then launched Logos 4 Mac, which opened as anticipated, then quit, which closed quickly.
