Suggestion: A Wiki page to list Android devices that work / doesn't work with Logos

Hi!

There's some Android (low-end) devices that doesn't run Logos Android app, even though they have Adnroid 2.1 or later (like my Chinese "Evix T1" tablet with WM8650 chip). It would be good to have a wiki page to list Android devices that are tested to work / not to work with Logos.

For example, I'm planning to sell my tablet and buy a new one, but I don't want to invest much to it because I'm going to just read Logos books and other ebooks for it (and maybe surf in the net). I just don't need a 500€ tablet. But I don't want to buy an another 99€ tablet that doesn't run Logos.

That is a good suggestion. The good news is that the Wiki can be edited by anyone.

Unfortunately, with thousands of Android devices available we don't have the resources to create and maintain an official list of Logos-supported devices.  As I mentioned in an earlier thread, your best bet is to purchase a current and widely used mainstream device made by a popular manufacturer.  Devices able to run newer versions of Android are recommended.  Less than 5.5% of devices run Android 2.1 and it's dropping quickly, so I would choose a device that can run newer versions of Android.

Since anyone can edit it, I decided to add the two devices that I have been successfully using.  Hopefully I haven't broken any policies or procedures by doing that, because I thought that wiki page was an excellent idea.  I love Logos 4 and really love that they have an Android version!  Keep up the awesome work Logos!

P.S.  I took the liberty of dividing the list into iOS and Android devices.

Yes, I'm aware of that and that's why I suggested a list to Wiki that users can edit based on their own experience.

Updated formatting for Mobile Compatibility List for tablets with Tablets with WM8650 chip and 256MB RAM along with removing iPad 2 9.7" that runs iOS instead of Android.
