Team Logos - aware of this app?

I have the HP TouchPad and normally use just CM9 and the Logos Android app, but once in a while play around in the original webOS it came with....

So I know that many have asked for a webOS app for their TouchPad or Palm phones, I happened to find a Bible app name On the Go Bible and installed it.... Well let's just say it looked very familiar, very Logos 4 in style.... Then I was able to log in to my Logos account and access my library!!!

Pretty nice app too... Will try to upload a screenshot after work tonight....

Didn't see it mentioned in a quick forum search, sorry if it has already been posted.

Also noticed this about the app:

Developer: CBCAmes

Developer URL: http://otg.cbcames.org

If you go to the website you get: "This user has elected to delete their account and the content is no longer available."

This does not sound good to me at all!

I don't have a WebOS device here, so I haven't checked the app out in detail, though the screenshots online show they use the "Powered by Biblia.com" logo we require. If they're accessing more than the Bibles, they're probably going beyond what we've licensed; our current API doesn't use your username and password, and doesn't (YET) support "OAuth", which is the safe way to let third party sites log you into another site. (This is what Facebook, Twitter, etc. use when you connect to them from other apps. We'll have it in the future.)

So if you're giving them your credentials now, you're probably exposing them to the app provider.

Thanks Bob. Just to make sure I am clear; the only way this app provider could have ID and password information is if a user has logged into their app with the Logos ID and password?

This is my understanding of the issue.
