Using iPad with big screen hookup for L4 study

I plan to leverage the use of my iPad with learnlogos webinars that I download and view them on the big screen. I only see the upside of this approach. And, I think I will go with the latest Apple Digital AV Adapter and HDMI hookup rather than Apple Tv route. Any thoughts?

    Within the last week I have used my ipad similarly. I used the AppleTV route to connect with an HDTV and used the 30-pin to VGA to connect to a projector. Both worked well. I was able to switch between Keynote and Logos flawlessly. I assume the videos will work equally well.
