Logos 4 stops Shut Down

When I try to shut down with the option turned on to reopen windows at the next login, I frequently get the message that Logos 4 is stopping the shut down.

When using Logos 4 Mac online, starting and stopping Logos 4.5b now includes synchronizing changes.  Caveat: synchronizing with Logos servers can take many seconds, much too long for OS X Lion shutdown so message appears about Logos 4 Mac stopping shut down (because application has not closed quickly).

Couple work around [I]'s (possibly use one or both):

1. Instead of OS X shutdown, choose sleep.
   • Caveat: periodic restart is helpful for Logos 4 Mac
2. Change Logos 4 Mac Use Internet setting to No
   • Caveat: periodically changing Use Internet to Yes allows changes to sync plus download resource and program updates.
   • Working offline has less appear on Logos 4 Mac Home Page plus 4 sections in Passage Guide are unusable plus reading lists and community notes are not available
