Purchases Not Showing in Library?

Normally when I purchase books or packs it just downloads them to my Library, but this time it didn't? This morning I purchased a journal pack and the Tyndale Commentary set along with one single book, but none are showing in my Library on my iMac, my iPad, or even my Kindle Fire?

Just wondering if there is something I'm not doing that I should be doing. I have opened and closed Logos4 several times and it says it synced and updated my Library? Thanks for any suggestions. Scott

I am quite perplexed that they are not showing up on any of your devices, unless of course they are not mobile enabled. Which resources are they? The journals may very well not be mobile enabled. I don't know what single book you bought, but the Tyndale set should be… I think.

Have you tried the command update now ?

Looking at => Tyndale Commentaries (49 vols.) noticed mobile device icon.

Wonder if iPad has network connection ?

Does the purchase show up on your account page?

yes, they do.

Suggest contacting Logos Customer Service => http://www.logos.com/about/contact to verify resource unlocks for your account (suspect something needs attention on Logos servers).

It's not that they just aren't showing up in my mobile platforms, they aren't showing up on anything, not even the desktop app? I open Logos4 on my iMac and search for the resource and they aren't there?

These were the three items in this order:

The Moody Handbook Of Theology - Paul Enns	591	1	$19.95
Theological Journal Library, vols. 1-10	8114	1	$339.95
Tyndale Commentaries (49 vols.)	8593	1	$179.95

I thought they were just supposed to download next time I opened Logos but I have opened and closed the app several times thinking maybe they just didn't sync or something but nothing seems to work.

I will say I did download the free Perseus Classics set, and they didn't download right away either. I did the "free" purchase on Thursday and they just showed up in my library this morning when I went to do the other purchase.

The app isn't trying to index the new books or download them because there isn't anything running (usually when it is downloading it will put that icon in the upper right corner). Anyway, just trying to figure out what I am doing wrong, feel like an idiot with something this simple. -Scott

yes, the iPad is connected to a wifi connection, but that isn't really the issue, it doesn't show up in my main desktop app library either

Here are the two update commands from the Wiki that can be entered into the command box:

Update Now (formerly Autoupdate Now) Incremental update. Checks what has been updated on the server against your last update.
Update Resources Full update. Performs an intensive and time consuming – though generally unnecessary – check against your licenses, the books on your computer and the server to ensure that you have everything.

Mobile apps can be used to quickly verify resource association with your Logos.com account.

For example, logging into http://biblia.com with your Logos.com account then looking in Library for Tyndale should find Tyndale Commentaries:

Note: Tyndale Commentaries have "An Introduction and Commentary" in the titles of individual volumes.

If mobile access to your Logos library is not showing Tyndale volumes, recommend contacting Logos customer service => http://www.logos.com/about/contact

Once mobile device shows resources in your Logos 4 library, then updating Logos 4 Mac library should happen automatically (e.g. personally purchased a free http://Vyrso.com eBook yesterday, which downloaded within an hour to my Logos 4.5b SR-1 on Mac, later downloaded to Logos 4.5b SR-1 on Windows 7).

My guess is that you are not doing anything wrong, so you can stop feeling like an idiot. [:)] The reason I asked about the mobile apps is because its like instant gratification. As soon as the license is registered to your account, the books are available in your mobile library (provided they are mobile enabled, and all of your purchases should be). With the desktop app, the books must first download, and preferably be indexed before using.

My guess is that there is a glitch in the Logos system somewhere. It may resolve itself before the offices open on Monday. If not, give them a call.

thanks for the information... I checked in the Biblia.com library and they aren't showing up there either, so it seems like they weren't registered as being purchased in my account or something. I sent Logos Customer Service and Tech Support an email, I'm sure they will get it straightened out, just wanted to read the books

Generally unnecessary? I'm not sure that Update Now has ever found anything for me, except software updates. Every time I try it, it comes back empty. Then I do Update Resources instead, and the download starts.

You're giving the official answer, but it doesn't work that way in real life; at least not on my computer.

Just in case someone else might run into this same problem... the official word from customer service late last night, which in part said:

I have requested the unlocking of these resources for you, as they were not successfully unlocked with the order.
When it is complete, I will let you know and you will then be able to access your books on all of your devices.

I'm sure they will take care of it soon... if it works like all the other book purchases they will just show up in the library on my iPad App and then download on the desktop app.
