I purchased the New Testament In Original Greek: Byzantine Textform 2005 along with the Greek Audio New Testament, which states the following:

"Listen to John Schwandt as he reads from the Greek New Testament, and follow along as each word is highlighted as it is read—just like karaoke!"

Each verse number is highlighted as it starts the verse, but the words are not.  Is there a setting that I am missing?  The News Testament In Original Greek: Byzantine Textform 2005 is listed on the Greek Audio New Testament page as working with this book.

Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated.

Your Brother In Christ,

Rev. David R. Broom Jr.

PS. I have Logos 4 for Windows

David ... unless they changed the product page in the last 2 hours, they put a little asterisk by the kareoke ones. Looks like it's either NA27 or USB4, or Westcott.

Hopefully either (a) you can change greek resources (refund?) or (b) enjoy a less exciting experience with my favorite (Byz'05).

    And welcome to the forums!!

Thank you for the reply DMB, I notice that asterisk now.  Never paid attention, just seen that those in the list worked with the Greek NT Audio and didn't read much further I guess.  I guess I will just have to enjoy the "less exciting" experience, as I really don't like the other options.

Thanks and may the God of peace and our Lord  and Savior Jesus Christ richly bless you.

Not sure what else is at play here, but FYI I pulled up New Testament in the Original Greek: Byzantine Textform 2005, and I have Greek audio, I selected read aloud, and I get the Greek read perfectly. Did I miss something?

Mine is reading just fine and when it comes to the next verse, a big circle appears to show which verse it is on, but it does not highlight each word as it is reading.  Is yours highlighting each word as it is read?

No it does not highlight word by word, that is what I was missing.  I think that issue has been reported before.

    Welcome [:D]

Personally living and learning that green dot for Greek Read Aloud appears in three Greek variants: NA27, UBS4, and "The Swanson New Testament Greek Morphology (Westcott-Hort Edition)"

Likewise learned Greek Read Aloud works, but does not have green dot in Byzantine and 1881 Westcott-Hort.

Note: many Greek New Testaments do not work with Greek Audio New Testament.

    Keep Smiling [:)]
