Hi there,
Just purchased the original languages library, trying to download Logos 4, but when I click on the PC version, the message 'setup was unable to download a required file' appears, and download cancels
Any ideas what's going on?
Thanks,
Sam
I just downloaded this setupfile from here http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers [under method 2, its a setup file] and when I click it to run the setup it reported that I was up to date.
So maybe you got an incomplete download, try this one and run the setup, eventually it will ask for u'r username and password, just type it in in the appropriate space and then it should load.
The OL will be autodownloaded and then there will be an extensive Indexing for the first run, so if u have a screensaver running turn it off, maybe also turn off any timers associated with the windows setup. This way there are no interruptions and it will complete a little faster......go get a cupcake and a soda.......
Reboot the computer to see if setup restarts, otherwise use the same link to restart setup (presuming you used the web link http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/Installer/Logos4Setup.exe )
......go get a cupcake and a soda.......
Watch it, Michelle won't approve.
George, you're not gonna tell are you? [:)]

Congratulations!
You picked the best edition of Logos4! Scholars is also good, but it doesn't have some of the modules in the Original language library so it may be better to get OL and then upgrade to the others. And, you've done that.

which of the links did you try to download it from? I do not seem to be having any trouble with them so it could be that there was a network issue when you attempted to download or that it has something to do with your settings. But, try these links if you haven't already:
(a) http://www.logos.com/downloads
(b) Click on the following link: http://www.logos.com/4ways and scroll down to Option 4: Engine-Only Download

Given that the post is more than a month old, and that he hasn't come back, he's probably solved his problems by now. [;)]
