Bug: Apparent Memory Leak in Logos 4 Mac (4.5b SR-2)

Before the latest update, Logos used a maximum of 8% of my RAM. In the latest release, I have been noticing that it is recently using more and more and more of my RAM, when I am not doing anything that is using lots of RAM. It goes from 7% to 25% usage of my RAM, and for no apparent reason. This was especially true when I had my Library open in it's own window. That does not make any sense at all. The developers should look into this.

Hi Caleb,
Can you provide logs of Logos 4 consuming more RAM as you allow it to sit idle? http://www.logos.com/support/mac/l4/logging It might also be good to get the Console logs as well. After you've saved the Logos 4 log navigate back to the Console program and select "All Messages" in the top left hand corner under "System Log Queries". Then Click File and "Save Copy As. . .". Please post both files as contemporaneous (i.e I want both log files from the same time period).
What other programs do you have open along with Logos 4?
Thanks.

Observation: Feature Parity list has 44 feature discrepancies, with 4 replies by Logos and 9 user confirmed fixes in 4.5c Beta 1 for 18 recent 4.5# regressions.
Thankful for Logos 4.5c Beta 1 improvements on Mac, which includes user interface implementation changes => Reminder about 4.5c UI implementation changes
Wiki has => Logos 4 Beta Program with information and risks. In contrast to Logos 4.5b Beta 1, the current Beta release 4.5c Beta 1 seems stable; Mac Beta forum has a couple threads with issues => Bug: 4.5c Beta 1 UI bugs and => BUG: Linkset icon 4.5c b1 so one option is switching to Beta release, then trying to repeat memory leak and post log files for Logos developers. After installing Logos 4.5c Beta 1, could use command set update channel to stable to avoid future Beta release updates until 4.5c is released to Stable channel.
Edit: if encounter issues in Logos 4.5c Beta 1, going back to earlier stable release requires prior preparation (could copy Logos 4 Mac application and your Logos 4 folder to another location before upgrading to Logos 4.5c Beta 1) OR could use Wiki steps to completely uninstall, then install a stable release with downloading resources and indexing. If want to go back to stable, would suggest using wiki => Uninstalling Logos 4 Mac to delete files (especially mono registry) before copying older Logos 4 Mac application and Logos 4 folder back to original locations.
Keep Smiling
