how to download a commentary that youve purchased...

I purchased a commentary on logos.com. After I purchased it, I tried to download it. For some reason my computer wants to use Adobe to try and download it. It is not working. What program do I need to use to download it? Also, how do I upload a purchased commentary to my logos 4 so I can utilize it? Thanks!

What program do I need to use to download it?

Logos resources are primarily meant to be used in Logos 4 (Mac or PC), or on the mobile app. The PC version can be downloaded HERE. If you purchased your commentary with the same account (email address), Logos 4 should automatically download it to your computer. If you need to, you can try the command update now. You do not need to upload anything... Logos should download the resource automatically. Remember: Logos needs to both download AND index before you can use your resource!

Adobe download sounds quite odd. The Logos 4 Indexer uses Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) to download Logos.com purchases for use in Logos 4.

Also, how do I upload a purchased commentary to my logos 4 so I can utilize it?

Logos 4 does include ability to create Personal Books, which can be added to a Logos 4 library; wiki has => Personal Books

Having spent many hours creating/updating docx files for Personal Book building, am Thankful for many high quality Logos resources.

John, if you purchased a commentary from someone other than Logos and it came on a CD you will need to call Logos support to activate the product. They will need the activation code that should have come with the product - sometimes on the sleeve, cover, or box it came in. Once activated, Logos 4 will detect you have a license for the commentary and download the latest files for it.
