My Logos 4 Mac is not working well!
Hi,
As I try to click on Logos software every morning, I get to the English Bible (ESV). I place the cursor on words in the NT or OT, words in Hebrew and Greek appear on the bottom of the window. When I close it and come back to it every time during the day, I try again to place the cursor on the words as I continue to read, but words don't show up on the bottom of the window at all. I have been experiencing this problem for a while. Please help me!

Rimon - can you explain more and perhaps give a screen shot? It sounds like it works some of the time, but not at other times. What is the difference? Did it work only once and then never again? Do you have to restart to get it to work again?
Also, what version are you using? What base package do you own?

Looking in ESV noticed many pericopes (e.g. in Matthew 5, the pericopes are: "The Sermon on the Mount", "The Beatitudes", "Salt and Light", "Christ Came to Fulfill the Law", "Anger", "Lust", "Divorce", "Oaths", "Retaliation", "Love Your Enemies") that appear in bold and lack words to display at the bottom.
Wonder about passage(s) where words do not show at the bottom ?

Personally have Logos 4 open most of the time.

Yes, I have to restart it again in order to get the Hebrew and Greek. When I place the arrow on an English word, in order to get the parsing of the word, it will not do it at all.As I mentioned earlier, When I click on the icon to open it, it will work, when I stop using it for an hour, come back to use it as I press on the icon, it will not work at all.

Edit: If since your are using stable Logos 4 Mac (4.5b SR-2), when Logos 4 is not working, one option is recommend calling Logos Tech Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact so can share desktop to show what is not working.
The other suggestion is enabling, then posting diagnostic log files (in a compressed archive) for Logos user and employee comments.
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac. If parsing fails to appear (or Logos 4 is not working at all), then compress log files and attach to a forum reply.
Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

Optional: download and use Logos Log Scribe application to create a zip file on your desktop that includes your diagnostic logs plus a copy of console messages. To diagnose Logos 4 Mac not responding at all, console messages could be helpful.

Logos Icon on the screen, as I wake up in the morning, I clock on Logos icon to start the program, or what others call it (short cut icon).

Are you talking about the reverse interlinear, or just the parsing info at the bottom of the ESV panel?

Wondering if Logos Icon on the screen is referring to the Dock ?

I am intermittently seeing the same thing with parsing. Sometimes reloading the layout back to a saved version fixes it, sometimes a restart of the software, sometimes it starts/stops for no apparent reason. At the moment it is working. But if there is a fix or adjustment that can be posted that would be helpful.

If parsing stops, suggest calling Logos Tech Support. With your permission, Logos can remotely share desktop with you to investigate and resolve.
