And here's what Bob Pritchett said a while back in the newsgroups regarding the Kindle:
I have a Kindle and I love it. It's great for travel, and for books you read from page one to the end.But books get to the Kindle on a completely different path than they get to Logos, and while it's something we can explore, I doubt Amazon is going to want to take a smaller priced sale because the user bought the book in our format. I also doubt that our customer base, compared to theirs, is big enough to make it worth doing any special arrangements. But we can always explore this. So, while I like the idea, I'm afraid it's not likely to happen soon. Logistically, it's comparable to wanting to get a discounted price on a DVD movie at Wal-mart because you already paid to see it at the movie theater. A cool idea, but difficult to make happen in light of the different deals/contracts/distribution channels.-- Bob
