Visual Filters?

Anyone know if Visual Filters capability will ever be ported over to the iPad/iPhone version? Trying to decide on purchasing a netbook/ultrabook mini or an iPad. Obviously with a netbook/ultrabook, the small harddrive would enbale me to install Logos directly and have this and many other features that aren't in the iPad version. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and God Bless!

Nothing has been publicly mentioned.

Trying to decide on purchasing a netbook/ultrabook mini or an iPad.

I am a Mac snob, so you will have to take this with a grain of salt. [:)] Here is my priority:

If I could only have one device, it would be a MacBook.
If I could have two devices, it would be an iMac and an iPad.
If I could have three devices, it would be an iMac, MacBook and iPad.
If I could have four devices, I would have an iMac, MacBook, iPad and iPhone.

The mobile app is NOT the same thing as Logos 4 (and never will be, even if many of the features are added later). If you are only going to have one computer, I would suggest you get the nicest laptop possible (Mac or Otherwise). If you can have two devices, I think an iPad is a fantastic device, and is my preference for reading. It could replace a laptop for my needs, as long as I had another good computer (desktop or laptop). If you have strong needs for full functionality in a portable situation, you will absolutely need a GOOD laptop (not a netbook).

I realized that I forgot to add something that might not be apparent to a non Mac user: Situation #1 is that I have a GOOD (computing power is important) LAPTOP (portability is important) but Situation #2 is that I have a DESKTOP and an iPad. In other words, portability is important to me, but the desktop is more powerful than a laptop (and has a bigger screen) and an iPad is more portable.

Personally dreaming of visual filter highlighting on an iPad some time.

If was shopping for an ultrabook, suggest comparing Apple refurbished MacBook Air models with other ultrabook models => http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals/mac/macbook_air If was buying for Logos 4 use (Mac or PC), suggest July 2011 model with 4 GB of RAM. The 13.3" MacBook Air model has a screen resolution of 1440 x 900. Anticipating refurbished prices to drop after Apple refreshes models.

I myself would love to see visual filters on the iPad. Here's my two cents worth: I love my iPad and love the Logos app. If portability is the real issue go ahead and get an iPad and download the Log me in app for free. You can then remotely access your PC and see the visual filters on it. That's how I usually work around mine if I really need to see visual filters. If not, I just use the Logos app on the iPad itself. It's nice having both options.
