Passage & Exegetical Guide Question

Does the passage guide and exegetical guide always open up to their last verse reference or is there a way to clear out the reference box?  If so this would keep the guides from automatically searching my library.

I don't know of a way to clear the memory, however, you can close all the sections of the guide and the software will remember they are closed and not open them next time until you click on them one by one.
