Does anyone find the "Compare Versions" graphic in the passage guide helpful? Maybe it's just me, but I get more information when I use the "text comparison" window.
This is intended to give you a quick visual of where the greatest differences occur in the passage range you have created the guide for. To answer your question indirectly, I do not really use it.
I do not really use it.
Thanks for the responses - it's nice to know I'm not alone.
I don't use it because I have no idea how to use it. Maybe there is a setting that would allow me to see how it works. I just see a bunch of lines with colors and nothing else. Obviously, I am new to Logos 4, so I may just be ignorant of how it works.
As stated earlier, it is a visual of what you see in the text comparison tool. The tool defaults to a visual comparison of your top bibles. You can chnage this in the settings menu that appears if you hover your mouse in the tootl title area.
On the graph you will see that the lines of space for each version shrink or grow at each verse point. The great the space means the greater the difference in rendering. The colored dots and corresponding bible abbreviations to the left of the graph are arranged based on the percentage difference between the versions. If you click one of the dots the text comparison tool opens, comparing the other versions listed against the version clicked.
