Using Logos 4.5c beta 2 on a new installation all my toolbar icons are missing.
Any ideas how to get the back. Working fine on my other computer with same beta.
Kevin - Logos is trying out a new simplified & streamlined approach with less clutter. [:P] (sorry I can't be of any REAL help).
Could you provide me with a bit more information: which OS version are you on for this computer, and which OS is on your "other computer" (where the toolbar is still working fine)? Could you fire up Logos with diagnostic logging (http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging), wait for the program to load and show the empty toolbar, and then quit? Then post the logs here. It's possible that could help us see what's going on, as I am unable to reproduce this issue. Thank you.
I will get the logs when I'm on the messed up system later. Both use the latest version of OS X Lion and both use the latest beta of Logos. Today I downloaded the new beta on the working system and still works fine.

Thank you, Kevin. I notice from your logs that you are still using 4.5c Beta 2. Could you let us know what happens when you update to the latest beta, which is 4.5c Beta 3?
Same thing. Also had a second instance of the Logos icon in my dock after updating. The old one which I made permanent and moved to the center and a new one when I opened the updated version.

Kidding aside, what's next? I'm about to reinstall but don't want to.
Not know how long for a case response, which has varied from hours to many months.
If have another Logos 4 installation, wonder about adding or deleting a shortcut, then syncing ?

what i do on the other install has no effect on this one. I'll give them a day or two, but I'm not waiting that long.
Kevin, we were unable to find anything in your logs to indicate why the shortcuts would be missing. Could you please post or upload your shortcuts database? It should be located here:
/Users/Kevin/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/ahwfkeiq.5yc/ShortcutsManager/shortcuts.db
(the bold bits will doubtless be different on your computer, but that should give you the path of where to go)

Kevin, this issue has been resolved in a future update. Additionally, you should be able to resolve your current problem without the update. Go to your original machine (the one with the working shortcuts) and make an edit to your shortcuts. This could be something like dragging the order of one of the icons. This should trigger the shortcuts to sync over to your new machine.
