Do any of you actually use this NOW to do a bible study with a group of people?  I confess to being ignorant regarding this subject.  IT seems to have kicked off with a mini-bang and now no one seems to be too interested?  My idea for use is to encourage people in my congregation to study the upcoming sermon paasage and to contribute their insights prior to Sunday.

And how is that going for you, are they showing any interest?....

Not really… but it is intended to be used among a group of real friends/acquaintances rather than online/virtual ones. Your idea of using it as a sermon study group seems to be right in line with what it was created for. Go for it! [:)]

I do not, but I am keeping it in the back of my mind.  Right now, I simply use facebook.  I am not going to ask anyone to use another social media site just because it claims to be a Christian social media site.  Right now, Facebook does everything that I need it to do.

I'd assume the best 'hook' will be with the Proclaim installations. The major issue is simply 'new' or 'different'; thus FB's appeal since it's already embedded in the  daily life of congregations. I'm not criticizing but I'd think the subscription will be an issue, especially when comparing to 'free' and 'already using'. Shared literal study will be the question.

I think the subscription was for the use of the study bible.  I WILL NOT be supporting the study bible even though it is a good study bible.

I like the social aspect of Logos is doing, but only time will tell if it was a good decision.  I would have preferred more of way to integrate L4 into the existing social media sites like facebook and g+.  This way the items that assist with a person's faith walk is more integrated with the rest of a person's walk.
