Get Directions

Just got my iphone i4s and would like for siri to get me directions to a particular place 90 miles away. can this be done like the GPS that are provided for cares? if so would you be so kind to tell me how

    Sam - Siri will get you directions, but not "turn by turn" navigation. For that, you will have to research and find a separate app. I think you would be better served to find a website that rates iOS apps. Another suggestion would be to read the comments in the app store (but those are more apt to be misleading).

    thanks Alabama i knew you would come through. i knew this was probably the wrong place to post this but i knew people like yourself on the forum was knowledgeable on the i4s and this my first rodeo with one. they only thing i have used is the old conventional cell phone for years.

    Since we are off-topic, FYI on my iPad I use mapquest which s very nice turn by turn navigation and it's free.

    Also, rumor has it that iOS 6, which we may see introduced at the Apple Worldwide Developer Conference in a couple of weeks, will offer turn by turn voice navigation using Siri! Keep your fingers crossed.
