Hi, anyones help welcome. I want to select a passage in a book which contains a number of bible reffs and create a "verse list" of those bible reffs. How can I do that?
Thanks
Eddie
Verse list is not yet available in Logos 4
Edward,
Even though a formal verse list is not available yet....you can do it in another way...
use the powerlookup tool to generate a verse list.
Here; I used the TSK and highlighted just some of the references; the powerlookup will display what's highlighted.
I dragged the powerlook up window to a tab...and then I did a screen capture. (I also just copied and pasted the results to a word doc.
Here is my layout:
And here is the result in a JPG.
Or just click the copy button at the top there and paste into your word processor of choice...
Jon,
I did see that but the formatting (at least in Open office) is horrible...it comes in all crammed together....not at all nice looking like the powerlookup window....
But good to point out...

the other option is to copy it to the clipboard, then open a verse list in L3 (gasp...he said it....) and do a "get verses from clipboard.
Good point Robert, it also looks terrible in Word... In fact it looks better if I do Paste->Unformatted text, than a normal paste ...not a good reflection on the formatting that is being applied to the text as it goes to the clipboard (why Times New Roman??!!) [:)]

I believe this has to do with the licensing of the fonts. Logos only has a license to use the fonts in their software, they cannot make it available to other programs on your computer. I believe this is the word the Bob gave on the subject.
Thanks v much Robert. The powersearch is v good. I notice it also includes items which are footnotes within the text, but that is fine.
