Devotional Sync Issue

Maybe the program is not supposed to operate this way or I am not up on how to make it happen.  The devotionals do not come up based on the current date.  I have a Devotional Layout using Morning and Evening, along with My Utmost to His Highest.  Is there a setting anywhere so it will come up each time with the current date when the program is opened?  Thanks for the help and if this is not available I hope that this is something the Logos Staff will look at adding.

    If you have a layout, the layout will open the resources to where it was saved. If you open the resources from scratch, they will open to the current date (if they are tagged as calendar devotionals).
