Mobile App Problem Accessing the Server

MicrosoftInternetExplorer4
I have the latest version of Logos 4 and the app version 2.1.5 on the new
iPad.
My problem began with v2.1.4 and still exists with v2.1.5. After I upgraded
to v2.1.4, I saw the message "loading library data" and the blue
ribbon. The message and the blue ribbon stayed constantly. The American
Standard Version had downloaded, but I could not open it. I got a message
“Error loading Book – Could not load the specified book”. Occasionally the ASV
would disappear and everything would be fine. However, when I turned off the app
and started it again, the problem reappeared. I uninstalled and
reinstalled the app multiple times, but the same problems.
While trying to solve the problem, I
discovered that the mobile enabled books I had hidden a long time ago did not
appear in the app library. I unhid them, uninstalled Logos 4, and then
reinstalled it. The books still did not appear in the app. The ASV is one of
the books I hid a long time ago. However, the app still downloaded this book,
but it remained inaccessible. Other books that come with the app that I had
hidden a long time ago, disappears once I signed in. I do not know exactly when
this problem with hidden books started.
I tried a few other things. I hid a book in Logos 4 that I had never hidden
before and it appeared in the app library. I also downloaded a new book and it
appeared in the library. I reverted back to v2.0.2 and then updated to v2.1.5.
Everything worked fine (books still missing) until I turned off the app and restarted.
On June 4, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app per Logos Support
instructions. Before I signed in, I looked at the books that came with the app.
Every thing was in order. The ASV was already downloaded. I could open it with
no problem. The moment I signed in, the ASV was downloaded but I could not open
it. The "Loading library data" message and the blue ribbon appeared.
The books mentioned above were still missing.
The matter concerning the hidden resources may not have anything to do with
the problem of the loading library data and the blue ribbon issue. Yet, I could
not figure out why the books I had hidden a long time ago did not appear in the
app library. They did not appear even after they were unhidden.
I can still use the app because all the other features work. I would like to
have the problem resolved that appears to only happen after I have signed in and
the app is accessing the server.
I submitted this problem along with the logs to Logos Support. They
suggested that I also post it here.
Thank you in advance.

First, welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having problems.
Currently, there is no sync of the "hidden" book list, although this may change in the future. You should also know that the ASV is considered a critical part of the app and should always be in a downloaded state. To be honest, I am a little confused by your post. What exactly is the issue? You seem that you have hidden books you want, and available books you want hidden. The persistent ribbon does seem to be a problem, along with being unable to view the ASV.
Have you tried turning your device off completely?

I sent information to Logos support, including log files. I posted here because they suggested that I do.
Just for clarification. The app works just fine until I sign in. Once I do sign in, some of the books that come with the app disappear. I can identify them. Some of the other books from my library that should be in the app are not. As best as I can tell the common thread with all of these books, including the ASV, is that I had hidden them a long time ago. There is not suppose to be a connection between hiding books in Logos 4 and the app library. I am just stating as observation. Just for information, the books are no longer hidden but they are not in the app either.
The ASV does not appear in the library when I first sign in. If I close the app or turn off the iPad completely and restart the app, the problem with the ASV surfaces. It gives the appearance of having completely downloaded, but I do not think it does. I believe this is why the "loading library data" message and the blue ribbon appear and never go away.
I have done everything I know to do. This includes deleting and
reinstalling the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Logos 4 I do not know the source of the problems. I do not know if it is a bug in the app and/or a problem with some of the files in my account. It would be nice to know if anyone else has experienced the same or a similar problem. If so, how did they solve it?
I can still use the app. Every thing else works fine.

My title should probably have been "syncing with the server" rather than "accessing the server"
When I first sign in, the app library looks just as I would expect it to look. If I close the app and restart it or turn the iPad completely off, I see the following:
The above will remain until all of a sudden when I look at the library it
will be back to normal. The "loading library message" and the blue ribbon are gone. The ASV is not listed in the library at all. I cannot associate this change back to normal to anything I
am doing.I am not a programmer, but I did see the following in the log. As best I can tell, these lines appeared right after I closed and restarted the app. LLS_1.0.60 is the ASV.

I have included the above because I want to know if this is a bug and/or a problem with my account.
Vyrso shows the same library as the Logos app as follows:
1. The eleven books are missing.
2. The books that come with the Logos app that are not a part of my library are not included. This is normal and expected.
Thank you again in advance for any assistance.

I have identified the eleven deletes as books that come with the app and for which I also have a license.
There was a known issue a while back that caused the "free" resources which a user had a license to use to be unavailable. I know that you have said that you were using "the latest version of Logos 4," but could you verify which build it is? Also, have you said if you were on PC or Mac?

My problem is concerning the Logos app and not Logos 4. I sent the information and logs to Logos Support before I posted it to the forum. They told me to post it there for all the obvious reasons.
I can still use the app, all though I will not always have the library search bar. Since I have one of the smaller packages, I do not have a lot of books. Therefore scrolling will not be a issue. Thanks for your replies and offering to get Logos' attention. I will wait until they can respond.
