Logos 4 doesn't remember the locator bar setting

RE: Logos Bible Software 4.5b SR-3 (4.52.0.2208)

If I turn on the locator bar in a pane and either update the layout, move to another layout and then return the locator bar will not be turned on. The same thing is true when I exit and restart Logos 4. I was expecting the layout to save settings like this.

Jim - My experience is that Logos 4 DOES remember the locator bar setting, but it is resource specific and independent of layouts. If you open the locator bar for a resource, it will be open in that resource in any layout.

I tested the locator bar issue a few times before posting and can definitely say that it does not stay on. I wonder what might be the difference between our set-ups. I turned it on for two resources and updated the layout, went to another layout and returned to the first one. The resources and their general layout did not change. It is only the locator bar that doesn't reappear.

Despite having Logos update my program (I'm on automatic updates) the locator bars still are not persistent. Every time I reload a layout or close, then open the program the locator bars have to be turned on again.

My problem with the locator bar is that every time I shut down and restart, the locator bar returns to maximum size and I have to drag it back to the narrowest setting. Complained about this back in 2009. Still, they did fix a bigger issue: the locator pane font used to be the same size as the text pane...what a pain!

Like I said, that was fixed quickly. The other isn't that big of a deal...just a quickly remedied annoyance.
